Dr. Nida Hussain serves as the Pro-Chancellor of Ziauddin University, an HEC-recognised institution dedicated to providing quality education and fostering societal change.

In her role, Dr. Nida is committed to supporting the professional development of both academic and administrative staff, recognising their efforts through awards, and ensuring the provision of state-of-the-art facilities that guarantee academic excellence.

She emphasises the importance of evolving teaching strategies to align with the latest methodologies, thereby enhancing learning and increasing employability among students.

In addition to her administrative role at Ziauddin University, Dr. Nida Hussain is a Consultant General Physician at Dr. Ziauddin Hospital’s Clifton campus in Karachi.

She holds an MBBS degree and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, with over 12 years of experience in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Along with Ziauddin University and Hospital, as CEO, Dr. Nida Hussain leads Ziauddin Schools and Colleges, institutions dedicated to providing students with a strong foundation in education, ethics, and the skills to make a meaningful impact on the world.

Under her leadership, Ziauddin Schools and Colleges have developed one of the most advanced and effective educational curriculums in Pakistan, focusing on critical thinking and leadership development.
