Introduction About Faculty
The Ziauddin University, Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery is amongst a few institutes in Karachi that are recognised for providing exemplary education and skills in the field of nursing. Serving as the first academic unit of Ziauddin University, the establishment was previously known as the School of Nursing. It was established and recognised by the Pakistan Nursing Council in 1986.
In 2009, the School of Nursing was upgraded to the level of College. The college offers various programmes at an undergraduate and graduate level, and has enrolled students coming from varied ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds across Pakistan. The reputation of Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery has grown nationally and internationally owing to the competency, critical thinking and knowledge of the graduates.
