The Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) is a four-year undergraduate programme designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of legal principles, judicial systems, and legislative frameworks. The curriculum, recognised by the Pakistan Bar Council and HEC, equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical legal skills. Through a structured programme spanning eight semesters, students explore core subjects, legal research, and case analysis while gaining exposure to real-world legal scenarios. This degree prepares individuals for diverse roles in law, advocacy, and policymaking, fostering critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and a deep understanding of justice in a globalised world.
The LL.B. programme is divided into four academic years; each year comprises a number of modules related to subject-specific information, in accordance with the PAKISTAN BAR COUNCIL and the HEC-recognised curriculum. Â

Eligibility/Prerequisite for Admission: FA/FSc/A-Levels
Admission to the Ziauddin Faculty of Law, Politics & Governance for the four-year LL.B. (undergraduate) degree programme is open to all individuals who meet the selection criteria.
Given the Government’s recent decision to pass all Matric/Intermediate students, applications are accepted but are subject to passing the Law Admission Test (LAT) conducted by HEC, the Ziauddin University Entry Test, and an interview conducted by Ziauddin University.
Selection of students is based on an admission policy approved by the Governing Body of Ziauddin University, in accordance with the regulations of the Pakistan Bar Council and HEC.Â
An LL.B. (undergraduate) degree opens doors to diverse career opportunities in the legal and corporate sectors. Graduates can pursue careers as lawyers, judges, legal consultants, corporate advisors, human rights advocates, and policymakers. They can work in law firms, judiciary, government agencies, multinational corporations, and NGOs. Opportunities also exist in academia, legal research, and legislative drafting. With further specialisation, graduates can advance into fields like international law, intellectual property law, or arbitration. The degree also serves as a foundation for higher studies, such as an LLM or a PhD in Law, enhancing prospects for leadership roles in the legal profession.Â
Graduates of the Law programme will be the bridge between humanity and technology, defenders of rights, designers of fair systems, and voices for the voiceless. They will gain expertise in legal research, argumentation, and case analysis, preparing them to interpret and apply legal doctrines effectively.
