Pakistan Registry of Intensive CarE (PRICE) Retreat

The Pakistan Registry of Intensive CarE (PRICE) is a national health service registry that collects routinely available patient data from collaborating intensive care units (ICUs) across Pakistan. Data is gathered through a secure web-based platform by trained data collectors and stored on protected servers, accessible only to authorized personnel. Since its establishment in 2017, PRICE has grown into a robust network with over 80 ICUs from 32 hospitals nationwide, covering all four provinces. With a capacity of 1,300 ICU beds, the registry has documented more than 75,000 patients.

Ziauddin University hosted the PRICE Retreat, an event led by Professor Dr. Madiha Hashmi, Chairperson Critical Care Medicine. The retreat brought together national and international experts in intensive care research, including esteemed faculty from Ziauddin University, PRICE

collaborating investigators, and international collaborators. Attendees presented ongoing research and clinical trials under the PRICE umbrella.
