On 15 January, Dr. Yousra Altaf, a lecturer in Community Dentistry at Ziauddin College of Dentistry, visited Bay View High School to conduct an oral health education session for pre-nursery students. The session aimed at giving little ones big knowledge to take care of their big smiles.
Dr. Yousra Altaf engaged the young learners with a fun, interactive approach, making the session both educational and enjoyable. The key topics covered included healthy eating habits and the correct brushing technique, emphasising the importance of good oral hygiene from an early age.
The students participated enthusiastically throughout the session, responding actively and showing great interest in learning how to care for their teeth. Visual demonstrations and simple explanations helped the children understand and remember the concepts easily.
Overall, the session was highly successful and well-received. It played a positive role in raising awareness of oral health among young children and encouraging healthy habits that will benefit them in the long run.
