The four-day Programme Evaluators (PEVs) Training for Level 6–7 Technology Programmes concluded successfully at Ziauddin University, Karachi, delivered by the National Technology Council (NTC) under the Team Europe TVET Sector Support Programme.
The training provided an interactive and engaging learning environment for higher-level faculty members, academic experts, and TVET stakeholders, focusing on strengthening their competencies in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), quality assurance mechanisms, programme evaluation, evidence-based assessment, and institutional review processes.
The sessions were enriched through practical exercises, peer learning, and valuable contributions from experienced trainers and guest speakers, enabling participants to enhance their understanding of international quality assurance practices and evaluation frameworks for Level 6–7 Technology Programmes.
The concluding ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Honourable Pro Chancellor and Vice Chancellor, Ziauddin University Karachi, who appreciated this important initiative and highlighted the significance of strengthening quality assurance systems in higher technology education.
During the closing ceremony, certificates were distributed among the successfully trained Programme Evaluators (PEVs), marking an important milestone towards developing a national pool of qualified evaluators for higher-level technology programmes.
This initiative contributes to strengthening Pakistan’s higher TVET and technology education ecosystem through improved quality assurance, institutional excellence, and continuous professional development of higher-level faculty.
