On 20th August 2026, four team members from CCRG presented their research at the Medicine Science Festival – Annual Research Day 2026, hosted by Aga Khan University.
With talks from experienced clinical research professionals and a diverse range of topics, the event provided a valuable platform for students and early-career researchers to connect and take their first steps into the world of clinical research.
Dr. Rehmat Noor Sheikh received the Best Oral Presentation Award for her presentation on an audit assessing safe mechanical ventilation practices in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Dr. Arishay Hussaini – Poster presentation on her recently published study on the long-term consequences of COVID-19.
Dr. Amna Soulat – Poster presentation on outcomes of patients with Central Nervous System (CNS) infections.
Dr. Alina Raheem – Poster presentation on outcomes of hospitalised patients with dengue.
