PPIE Leads Dr. Arishay Hussaini and Dr. Timo Tolppa hosted a workshop on Inclusive Consent Methodologies in Clinical Trials, alongside their international colleagues. The workshop focused on inclusive and alternative consent approaches for clinical trials involving paediatric, acute and critical care, and underserved populations with language, communication, disability, or decision-making needs. It brought together practical solutions, co-design approaches, and best-practice resources to address challenges in recruiting diverse populations and obtaining consent in complex settings.

Members of the CCRG team also presented their work, highlighting the group’s activity being done in Pakistan.
