The Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (Healthcare) provides students with specialized knowledge and practical skills to design safe, functional, inclusive, and aesthetically supportive healthcare environments. The programme integrates interior design principles with human wellbeing, accessibility, infection prevention, ergonomics, sustainability, and evidence-based design. Students learn to develop patient-centred spaces that contribute to comfort, dignity, healing, and efficient healthcare delivery.Â
To provide excellence in Healthcare Interior Design education through research, industry engagement, and professional practice, equipping graduates with technical expertise, ethical values, and leadership to design sustainable, human-centered healthcare environments that improve the quality of life.Â

The programme prepares graduates to design a wide range of healthcare environments, including hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, rehabilitation facilities, dental practices, pharmacies, laboratories, elderly-care facilities, wellness centres, and therapeutic spaces. Graduates may work with architecture and interior design firms, healthcare organizations, construction and consultancy companies, government agencies, or organizations specializing in healthcare planning and development. They may also pursue postgraduate education, research, or establish independent design practices.
