Ziauddin College of Medical Technology is introducing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program for medical technologists, allied health professionals, and related healthcare specialists. Built upon the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan Graduate Education Policy 2023, this research-intensive program consolidates human pathophysiology, clinical experience and innovation in medical technology.

The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, independent inquiry and research skills, enabling graduates to respond to the evolving needs and challenges of modern healthcare. It encourages the development of leaders who can generate original knowledge, enhance diagnostic/scientific practices, and drive innovation for improved patient care. 

  • MS/MPhil or equivalent (18 years of education) in Medical Technology or a related health sciences discipline
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or First Division
  • Entry test and interview in accordance with university policy 

Graduates of the PhD program will be equipped with the skills to meet complex healthcare challenges through original research, academic leadership, and technical innovation. They will demonstrate:

  • Technical validity in advanced diagnostics
