PhD graduates can pursue careers as university professors, research scientists, and policy advisors in government and international health organisations. Opportunities exist in research institutions, where they can lead studies on public health nutrition, metabolic disorders, and food sustainability. The food industry offers roles in product innovation and regulatory affairs. Graduates may also work as independent consultants, contributing to evidence-based nutrition strategies and shaping public health initiatives globally.
Candidates with an MS/MPhil or equivalent degree in nutrition or a related discipline are eligible to apply (candidates with a BS in Nutrition & Dietetics/Home Economics with Nutrition major will be preferred).Â
