Shaheen Fatima

Shaheen Fatima is an experienced professional in the field of sports, and currently serves as the Deputy Director Sports at Ziauddin University since November 1, 2021. She bagged first position in Master’s degree in Science, and has made significant contributions to the sports industry.
Shaheen has an illustrious career in international women’s hockey, having played in four international matches against China, Ireland, Zimbabwe, and Malaysia. She has also worked as a Tournament Director in 34 National Women’s Hockey events and was the Manager of Women’s Hockey Team in 2016 for Asian qualifying rounds.
With over 25 years of working experience in various reputable institutions like St. Joseph School/College, Aga Khan Higher Secondary Education, and Karachi Grammar School/College section, Shaheen has established herself as a competent and reliable sports person.

Zubair Ishaque

Zubair Ishaque started his career at Ziauddin University as a Sports Manager in the Department of Sports and Wellbeing in December 2018. Zubair, with second position, is a proud holder of a Master’s degree in Health Physical Education Sports Sciences from the University of Karachi. Throughout his student life, he actively participated in sports and worked closely with student athletes and teams of all levels, providing mental and physical performance-enhancing consultations.
He has been with Ziauddin University for the past four and a half years and efficiently take part in administration, budgeting, planning, developing sports curriculum, and managing multiple sports events. He has also designed the curriculum for the four-year BS program in Health, Physical Education, and Sports Sciences at Ziauddin College of Rehabilitation Sciences. Zubair has initiated intercollegiate tournaments at Ziauddin University and, under his leadership, the university has won several championships, including HEC and Intervarsity Sports Olympiad.
Zubair has also worked as a teaching faculty member at Ziauddin University, University of Karachi, and Federal Urdu University, as well as a fitness coach and indoor game instructor for KN academy.

Mohammad Khan

Mohammad Khan is an accomplished sport professional and has been serving as an Assistant Sports Coordinator/Football Coach at Ziauddin University since 2007. He completed his B.A from the University of Karachi.
In his career, Mohammad has won various tournaments, including the 5th Aga Khan Inter University Football Tournament in June 2007, LUMS University (Lahore) Sports Olympiad Futsal Winner 2017, and the 18th Aga Khan Inter University Football Tournament in January 2023, among others.
Mohammad’s coaching experience extends beyond the university level, as he has also trained teams at the district and club levels, including the District South Under 14,16,18,20 Boys Football team, Sind Muslim, Gizri Brothers, and Tanzeem Sports FC.
In addition to his coaching experience, Mohammad has also played football for Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB), Karachi Development Authority (KDA), PAK Arab Refinery LTD (PARCO), Sindh Government Press (SGP), and Karachi Port Trust (KPT).
Under his supervision, Ziauddin University has won different games like Cricket Hard Ball (AKU) and Basketball (AKU) etc. Mohammad’s passion for sports and his dedication to coaching has made him a valuable asset to Ziauddin University.
