Mr Omer J Ghani, Program Specialist HEDP, R&D Division, HEC and Secretary of PM’s Startup Pakistan Program visited Ziauddin University on 28th October 2020 on the invitation of Director ORIC. He met with the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar and Director ORIC and later he was briefed on the research & innovation at Ziauddin University by the ORIC team.
The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the HEC to strengthen the industry-academia partnership and sector-wise collaborations. The Registrar discussed the SEZs and potential of value addition. Mr Omer briefed about the upcoming opportunities on R&D collaboration and greatly appreciated the role of Ziauddin University. Director ORIC shared the vision of ORIC at ZU and how it can drive socio-economic development. Mr Omer was presented with a ZU souvenir by the VC.
