Accelerated Doctor of Occupational Therapy

The Accelerated Doctor of Occupational Therapy (ADOT) is a one-year, semester-based degree programme tailored for practising occupational therapists who hold a professional qualification and seek to advance their academic standing and clinical expertise. This programme is specifically designed for professionals who wish to transition to a doctoral level of education without stepping away from their current roles in healthcare, education, or community practice.

Through a rigorous and flexible academic structure, the ADOT equips therapists with advanced knowledge in evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, leadership, advocacy, and research. It empowers them to take on expanded roles within multidisciplinary teams, pursue academic and administrative positions, and contribute to the growth and recognition of occupational therapy at both national and international levels.
