School Outreach to Happy Home School, Clifton by the Community Dentistry Department
The Community Dentistry Department of Ziauddin College of Dentistry, Ziauddin University, conducted an extensive oral health outreach programme on 12 November 2025 for students from Pre-Nursery to Grade II at Happy Home School Clifton Campus. It was aimed at building strong foundations for lifelong oral hygiene. Throughout the session, the children received engaging oral health education that introduced them to the importance of brushing twice daily, using the proper brushing technique, making healthy food choices, and understanding how cavities develop and can be prevented.

We are proud to announce that our Cricket and Throwball teams demonstrated exceptional performance, reaching the Quarter Finals in both games. Although our Futsal and Badminton teams did not advance to the next stage, their efforts and sportsmanship were commendable.

Mental Health Event
Ziauddin University successfully hosted Mental Health Week, featuring workshops, seminars, awareness walks, and expressive arts. The ZU Sports Department proudly participated in the HEC Zone “L” Boys Badminton Championship 2025. Our players competed in both the Singles and Doubles events, delivering an outstanding performance throughout the tournament.

The Oral Biology Tooth Carving Competition was successfully held at Ziauddin University on November 10, 2025. The event showcased students’ talent, precision, and understanding of tooth anatomy through impressive carving skills and creativity.
2nd Clinical Research During Outbreaks (CREDO)
The programme began with Stage I: web-based learning (September–October 2025), followed
by the in-person workshop in Karachi, and concluded with Stage III: mentored research plan
development. Facilitated by experts from ISARIC (UK), ICC-CTN (Ireland), and CCRG
(Pakistan), the training brought together participants from icddr,b (Bangladesh), Aga Khan
University, Chughtai Institute of Pathology, and The Indus Hospital (Pakistan).

Ziauddin University, in collaboration with Cybsoft Technologies, successfully conducted an awareness session on “Cyber Security.” The session provided valuable insights on data protection, online safety, and preventive measures against cyber threats, fraud, and data breaches, enhancing participants’ understanding of secure digital practices.

Ziauddin University’s College of Human Nutrition & Dietetics successfully hosted the seminar “Nourish the Present, Sustain the Future,” featuring insightful keynote sessions, poster and product competitions, and engaging discussions on nutrition and sustainability. The event highlighted student excellence and innovation through inter-university competitions.
