Ziauddin University’s Education City Campus hosted “Tajdeed – IEEE Young Professionals Development & Innovation Forum” on 20th November 2025. Featuring keynotes by Mr. Mehboob Shar and Ms. Sakina Abbas, a VR/AR & BioMed 5.0 panel led by Dr. Hira Zahid with leading experts, and the Pitch It Up! Competition showcasing 15 student teams, the event highlighted renewal, innovation, and emerging technologies. Team Hukm, Donuts Sphere, and Tech Whiz Loader were declared winners. The forum successfully promoted creativity, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Training of Trainers – Business Process Mapping
The “Training of Trainers (ToT) – Business Process Mapping” workshop was held by the esteemed
Mr. Imranulla Shariff from Pakistan Institute of Quality Control (PIQC) at Ziauddin University on
20th November 2025. This full-day session provided participants from various departments at
Ziauddin University with the skills to visualize workflows, identify inefficiencies, and redesign
processes for improved efficiency and quality.
The course covered key concepts such as process identification, mapping techniques
(flowcharts, SIPOC, swim lane diagrams), analyzing process gaps, and using maps to support
decision-making and improvement initiatives.
Through practical examples and hands-on exercises, participants learned to create accurate
process maps, highlight non-value-added activities, and support teams in achieving streamlined
and standardized operations.
Unlocking the Power of Secondary Data
The College of Molecular Medicine and Department of Research at Ziauddin University successfully conducted the workshop “Unlocking the Power of Secondary Data”. Participants explored research ideas, secondary data analysis, systematic reviews, critical appraisal, meta-analysis, and reporting, enhancing their skills in high-quality scientific research and writing.
