Orientation Internship Program in Molecular Medicine
The College of Molecular Medicine in collaboration with the Department of Research, Ziauddin University, successfully organized a two-week Orientation Internship Program in Molecular Medicine (Step into the World of Tomorrow’s Medicine) from 18th to 29th August 2025 at the Multi-Disciplinary Research Laboratories (MDRL 1,2,3). The program was led by Ms. Saba Farooq and facilitated by esteemed faculty including Prof. Dr. Talat Mirza ( Program director) , Dr. Rehan Imad, Dr. Shumaila Usman, Dr. Rehan Imad, Dr. Aisha Ishaque, Dr. Ambrina Khatoon, Moazzam Ali Shahid, Fariha Anum, Urfa Kayani, and Laiba Jawed.

ZCPT Student Council celebrated Independence Day at Dar-ul-Sukun on Saturday, 16th August.
The celebration was an honour for our team, marked by meaningful interactions and patriotic spirit.
The residents warmly welcomed us with a beautiful dance performance, followed by soulful singing that truly enriched the occasion.
Along with these performances, our team engaged in various interactive activities that created a heartfelt and memorable experience for all.

A successful Plantation Drive was held at Ziauddin University, Education City Campus,as part of the ongoing Marka-e-Haq Independence Day activities. ZU Chess
Ziauddin University successfully organised ZU Chess from 9th to 10th August 2025, bringing together participants for an engaging and competitive event. The programme also featured a poster presentation, providing a platform for students to showcase their academic work and innovative ideas.
Special Olympics Visit
On Wednesday, 6th August 2025, the faculty of the College of Clinical Psychology visited the Special Olympics team under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jamshaid, Sports Psychologist.
During this insightful meeting, we explored how psychology can be applied in sports to enhance athletes’ mental strength, motivation, and overall well-being. The discussion also focused on designing future training programmes for coaches and trainers, equipping them with skills to provide both physical and psychological support to athletes.
This collaboration will not only promote inclusion and mental wellness in sports but also create valuable internship and training opportunities for our students, enabling them to gain hands-on experience and contribute meaningfully to the world of sports.
