Health Professions Education (CHPE) 2025
Ziauddin University is offering a 12-week long, Saturday format course in Health Professions Education (CHPE) 2025, designed to enhance the teaching skills of participants and develop their competency as educators, covering the 12 essential roles of a teacher.
Dog Show
Dog shows are celebrated and organised to showcase the beauty, intelligence, and abilities of dogs and to promote responsible dog ownership and breeding. These events are more than competitions; they are also about honouring the deep bond between humans and dogs. A dog show was organised by the Pakistan Kennel Club with the collaboration of ZUFVAS on December 15, 2024, at the Clifton campus. The highlights of the day are presented below:

On 15th December 2024, ZUFVAS proudly hosted a vibrant Pet Show at the Clifton Campus in collaboration with the Pakistan Kennel Club. The event celebrated canine beauty, intelligence, and the special bond between humans and their four-legged companions.

Future Leaders: A Workshop on Low Socioeconomic Communities’ Growth & Development
Ziauddin University’s College of Physical Therapy hosted the “Future Leaders” workshop on December 3, 2024, at our Clifton Campus and December 4, 2024, at the North Campus. This engaging event provided a platform for our faculty to delve into human rights, community development, and sustainable change.
The workshop, led by internationally certified trainers Ms. Sana Mehmood and Ms. Iqra Salahuddin, focused on equipping faculty members with the tools to address challenges in low socioeconomic communities. The session aimed to inspire action by promoting the use of AI tools to propose innovative solutions for community health issues.
The event featured interactive activities like the “Bingo Match” and “Quick Draw,” designed to foster networking, collaboration, and mindfulness. A key highlight was the “Community Growth Blueprint” project, where faculty members collaborated to develop practical proposals for community development. These proposals were presented and evaluated based on creativity, impact, and feasibility.
Debate Competition
A district-level debate competition titled “Addressing Malnutrition Issues in Sindh: Strategies and Way Forward” was successfully organised at Ziauddin University, Sukkur Campus, on November 26th, 2024. The event featured eight talented debaters who passionately discussed the pressing issue of malnutrition. The panel of esteemed jury members, including Dr. Muhammad Usman Khan, Principal of Ziauddin College of Physical Therapy, Dr. Ayesha Jabeen, Vice Principal of the College of Pharmacy, and Ms. Ambreen, a representative of the Strengthening Participatory Organisation (SPO), thoroughly evaluated the performances. The winners were announced as Mr. Ahmed Mian securing 1st prize, Mr. Hammad Hussain earning 2nd prize, and Ms. Aqsa Memon taking 3rd prize. They were awarded cash prizes of Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7,000, and Rs. 5,000, respectively, along with certificates of achievement. Dr. Muhammad Usman Khan appreciated the participants for their exceptional efforts and extended heartfelt gratitude to SPO for their instrumental role in organising this meaningful event. The event also welcomed guests from the community, colleges, and schools. Giveaways and lunch were served to all attendees, reflecting the university’s dedication to fostering dialogue on critical societal challenges.
ZLSA Annual Picnic 2024
Sun, sand, and unforgettable memories! The Ziauddin Law Students’ Association proudly hosted an unforgettable Beach Party for the law students of ZFLPG on 23rd November 2024. From a thrilling live concert that had everyone grooving to the colourful excitement of the Rang Party and many more fun-filled activities, the day was all about good times and great memories! A big shoutout to the ZLSA Student Council and Student Affairs Department-Ziauddin University for making this event a huge success. Here’s to more events that bring us together and celebrate the Ziauddin spirit!
