30th September 2025. The event focused on raising awareness about prevention and control
measures to protect communities from rabies.

World Pharmacists Day 2025

World Pharmacists Day 2025 was celebrated by the Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ziauddin University, with a Research Expo under the theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist.” The event highlighted students’ innovative research and contributions to healthcare, reflecting the University’s commitment to advancing pharmacy education and research excellence.

Medical Camp Central Jail Karachi

On 27th September, the MBBS Student Council proudly organized a Medical Camp at Central Jail Karachi, extending healthcare to over 800 patients.
From history taking, vitals, and specialized OPDs in Medicine, Ophthalmology, and Dermatology to complete eye assessments and awareness sessions on common skin conditions like scabies — every effort was made to bring quality care to those in need. Free medications were also distributed, ensuring treatment reached beyond diagnosis. 

Kahaniyah Dil Ki

Ziauddin University, in collaboration with SHAP, successfully hosted Kahaniyah Dil Ki—a visual storytelling experience for differently abled children. The event featured engaging skits, performances in sign language and visual arts, along with exciting giveaways, fostering inclusion, creativity, and expression.

Service Mindset in Occupational Therapy

An insightful Guest Speaker Session on “Service Mindset in Occupational Therapy” took place with Mr. Talib Mirza at the Boat Basin Campus.

Oric Safe Anti-Harassment Initiative

Ziauddin University successfully hosted the SAFE Final Colloquium, marking the culmination of the SAFE—an initiative aimed at promoting awareness, prevention, and response to sexual harassment within higher education institutions. The colloquium brought together faculty, students, researchers, and policy advocates to reflect on the progress made, share evidence-based outcomes, and discuss sustainable strategies for fostering safe and inclusive campus environments. Key stakeholders, including representatives from UNDP Pakistan and the Sindh Higher Education Commission and Madam Fauzia Viqar from FOSPAH, participated in the event, highlighting the collaborative efforts that led to the development of impactful policies and awareness programmes. The colloquium reaffirmed Ziauddin University’s unwavering commitment to creating a respectful and empowered academic community.
