Ziauddin University’s College of Medical Technology (CMT) hosted a two-day International
Allied Health Sciences Event celebrating the vital role of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs)
and exploring advancements in the field. With the presence of Mr. Ismail Jaskani from the
Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) Pakistan, the event featured the Dean’s address,
discussions on Interprofessional Education and Practice (IPE/IPP), and a mindfulness
session for healthcare workers. It marked a key milestone in promoting collaboration,
innovation, and excellence in Allied Health Sciences.
Guest Lecture on Environmental Law
Ziauddin University – Faculty of Law, Politics and Governance hosted a Guest Lecture on Environmental Law on 14th October 2025.
Students gained valuable insights into the evolving role of law in environmental protection.

Brest Cancer Seminar 2025 “Awareness is Power, Early Detection is Hope” – Sukkur
Today, Ziauddin University & Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, Sukkur Campus, in collaboration with the Department of Oncology, successfully organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar aimed at educating the community about early detection, prevention, and support for those affected.
Forensic Posters Competition
Ziauddin University has successfully held the Forensic Poster Competition at the Clifton Site today,
where MBBS students showcased their creativity and knowledge through insightful posters highlighting
key aspects of forensic science and its real-world applications.
The Bar Vocational Course
The Bar Vocational Course at Ziauddin University, organized in collaboration with the Sindh Judicial Academy (SJA) and the Sindh Bar Council (SBC), continues to deliver an engaging and practice-oriented learning experience for aspiring advocates. Recent sessions featured insightful discussions on various topics including; welfare of minors, international law, and legal communication. Ziauddin University continues to strengthen the standards of professional legal training.

On 12th September 2025, the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Ziauddin University
had the privilege of hosting Synergy Technologies to explore potential collaboration in
advancing rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and patient wellness.

Building Global Acute Care Research Capacity – Kigali, Rwanda
The “Building Global Acute Care Research Capacity” conference held in Kigali, Rwanda from 6 to 9 October 2025 brought together over 100 clinicians, researchers, funders, and policymakers to chart a more equitable future for acute care research in low- and middle-income countries.
