Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Commencement

On the 1st of March 2021, the Ziauddin College of Dentistry opened its doors to the 12th batch of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme. The event was held at Ziauddin University Clifton campus and included the presence of a few significant faculty members as well as the current batch of students joining us for the Spring 2021 semester. EMERGENCY OBSTETRIC NEONATAL CARE SKILLS WORKSHOP AT ZIAUDDIN UNIVERSITY

Keeping in mind our tradition of providing quality medical service training to improve healthcare in Pakistan, Ziauddin University will be hosting its 75th Emergency Obstetrics Neonatal Care (EMNOC) workshop at Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, North Campus. The workshop that be held on the 25th, 26th and 27th of February 2021, aims to educate medical students is numerous skills related to obstetric care. This includes exercises, basic emergency care, as well as all that is needed to ensure a healthy delivery. The facilitators of the workshop include Prof. Rubina Hussain, Dr. Nigar Sadaf, Dr. Shama Chaudhry, Dr. Shazia Sultana, and Dr. Rehana Yasmeen.

Randomised, Embedded, Multi-factorial, Adaptive Platform Trial for Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Ziauddin University has signed a Research Collaboration Agreement with Monash University, Australia to implement the global “Randomised, Embedded, Multi-factorial, Adaptive Platform Trial for Community-Acquired Pneumonia” (REMAP-CAP) project. REMAP-CAP is a global network of leading experts, institutions and research networks. With over 250 participating world-wide, REMAP-CAP is a truly global trial.
